Record Producer: Tony Visconti cd

Has anyone purchased this yet? I am having difficulty purchasing a copy from here in the US. I go to order from 101cd, and they are out of stock and they say it will take 4-5 weeks before they can restock it. WTF?!?!
So then I try and they say they can't ship to my address, but the other discs I have on the same order were fine. Again, WTF?!?!
iTunes US doesn't have it, and all I want is the French version of Bowie's Heroes, called Heros.

Hopefully you can help me out. If you have this on mp3 from this cd, I'd be ever so grateful if you would share.

I have a French version of "Heroes," thanks to bowiebabe1973 who kindly shared it with me. It didn't come directly from this CD, though, as far as I know, so I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for...

I have a bootleg cd of CHRISTIANE F before Virgin/EMI issued it in 2001/2002 whenever it was. It had a bunch of extra songs that weren't on the official release, and Heros was on it. It wasn't pristinely mastered, and I was hoping to track down an mp3 from the Visconti Record Producer series cd as I'm sure it is remastered to match the sound quality of all the recent Bowie reissues from the past 8 years.

This version you shared sounds decent from what I can tell so far (my PC speakers aren't the best). It is missing the first 1/2 second or so of the song.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Are you in search of anything? I might have something you don't have. I have some mp3 files of tracks from the Reality concert dvd that I can email to you.
The Heros I have came from the Speaking in Tongues bootleg. I'm sure the Visconti one will have excellent sound quality -- good luck getting it, it sounds like it has already been a hassle just trying to find it.

You wouldn't happen to have Velvet Goldmine, would you, 1975 Space Oddity B-side? I've been wanting that for ages.
I have it if she doesn't, so long as it's the version that's on The Best Of David Bowie 1969-1974 collection you're after. Let me know and I'll dig it up.
Yes I do. It was actually recorded during the 1971/72 Ziggy Period, and can be found on the 2002 3-th anniversary 2 disc-edition of Ziggy Stardust. I'll send it to your yahoo account right now. Let me know if you get it okay.
Thank you! I'm listening to it right now. :D And thanks for the offer, dmacabre.
Let me know if there is anything else you need. Chances are good I may have it. I am not a huge bootleg collector though.

I also have all the tracks from David's live albums neatly with crowd fade-ins and fade-outs, perfect for the iPod shuffle feature. I don't think there is anything more annoying than when a live recording starts with a non-fade, and ends on a non-fade, unless you are listeing to the album as a whole.
